The first room is ready for guests. Only joking, it's just the understairs cupboard. Patrick finished the plasterboard this morning and then Jill painted it. It does need one more coat but it's cosy in there. The floor has had a good scrub too.
Patrick then headed upstairs to help Bruce put the ceiling up in what will be the bathroom. It will stop all our heat from our little heater, going up into the attic. It's been a bit chilly inside so it's lucky it's been mild - although it rained all day today.
Bruce checked on the cement up top. Good news , it's all fine. Here's a picture he took yesterday.
It was Patrick's last day today as he is headed back to New Zealand. We are very grateful for his help and will really miss him as a new friend and neighbour. Hopefully it won't be long before he and Lynda visit again as it will seem funny The Gord being empty. Safe journey home.
Michael is sorting things in his new house so we won't see him til Tuesday.
It's been wet so lots of mud. We have started seeing art in odd places- or is it our new obsession with cetaceans!
