Batten down the hatches

 


It's been a bit wild the last 2 days so we have got on doing things indoors. Unfortunately, Jill's knee started swelling up so today was a trip to a and e. Not sure how, but the meniscus is torn on the outside so hopefully it might heal itself. Will need to be careful with it for a while and lots of pain killers

The plastering in the bathroom is looking great.


The door factory upstairs is in full swing and the last two have been stripped ( before electricity prices go up!)


The rain was making it hard to strip the last door as it was coming in under the old window horizontally.



Hopefully another two of these can be done this week.

Michael found the mark of the old company that made the old windows.


We think they closed around 2004 but the family say the old ones went in somewhere in the 80's so they did well.
