Action packed.

Lovely day again today so we all got on outside. Jill started on another wall picking and pointing all day. It's a big wall but already looking good.

Michael finished the roof so all three roof lights are now in and it's watertight. We are just awaiting the scaffolding guys to move the scaffold to the ends so Bruce can do the chimneys. They were supposed to be here last week! Big step complete.

Rob was getting on with working out the plan programme for the extension so Jill left him too it. The walk was amazing.

Firstly Jill watched a Bonxie attacking a gannet. It went on for quite a while and luckily the gannet flew away.

The gannets were all busy fishing as were the other birds in the bay. Must have been a Scole of fish in.

Then, while heading back Jill spotted a gannet corpse on the beach, probably an avian flu casualty, but it was moving so she watched it for a while.

We hope the polecat stays away from our chickens!

It was lovely walking towards the house knowing the roof is now finished.

We haven't had enough guesses yet on what's in the bucket.
