Special weekend in Walls

This weekend is the Walls agriculture show. It was lovely driving past this morning seeing the marquees up opposite the hall.

Rob had a check up at the hospital. All is well with his potassium levels and his foot is getting better. The Dr, Mr Fryer, phoned with the blood results at 9pm, so we could enjoy the weekend.

When we got back from Lerwick we had a big bonfire of all the rotten wood from the old kitchen as the weather was better. It was good to get rid of it. Our feral cat was curious and came to see. We think she is a female. We have called her nutmeg.

Very pretty cat. While  Jill was taking her picture , we also had lots of birds in the garden.

After tea, Jill went down to the village to help with show preparations. There was a good crowd of friendly folk helping set up for teas in the hall. Looking forward to the show .

The day ended with a lovely sunset.
