Summers gone missing

Bit chilly today. Only 11 degrees and wet this afternoon. Jill managed to cut the grass before it rained and wheelbarrowed some of the knotweed roots to the bonfire. Then it was indoors for some more paint stripping. Finished the inside of the bathroom door and started on the hallway.

Regardless if the rain, Jill took a little drive while Rob rested, he was looking better today. In between rain showers she took a short walk around Walls along the shore and stopped by Vesquoy to look at some ruined water mills. Lots of new wildflowers and the birds were still making the most of the cut hay fields

The pink flower is Mother of thyme and smells lovely.
Bit if a family trip to the hay.
