Canada day 1

It was a bit touch and go but we managed to get sorted in time. It took til almost 2 in the morning to trace the missing bag. The uber driver was not that forthcoming with handing it over so another driver had to collect it. So crisis averted ee headed to the airport for 6am and arrived in good time. The Toronto flight left 45 mins late which was a bit concerning g for our connection but the pilot gapped his wings harder and remarkable we made up the time.

Toronto Airport is immense so we had booked assistance for Rob.  It was patchy but started well, a bit like a tag team, but someone had forgotten to appoint the middle leg. 1st leg was an awesome golf buggy handing over to a wheelchair pusher who never turned up. Fearing for our connection Jill pushed the wheelchair to departures for calgary which was tough carrying 2 sets of bags and coats. The rest of the trip went well, landing a little late in Calgary. Car hire sorted smoothly and short drive to the hotel. Tick

We like the fact they feel they need to mention hail damage

Being on the wing reminded us if one of the episodes of the twilight zone.

Going to sleep now - exhausted.

Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made...
