Canada Road trip Day 9

We were still talking photos at 1am along the gravel route to Tuktoyaktuk, including these:

The fox was taken with the very last of the light through the windscreen.

We slept for a few hours in the lay-by and set off again at 5.30am. There was lots of wildlife and lovely views but the road is a bone shaker for 144km.

We found some summer plummaged lapland buntings at Tuk and spent some time at the rubbish tip with the gulls and marmots!

.

We then headed back to  Inuvik to find a hotel  without any luck. So back to the fantastic Roost for food. Muhammad is helping us find somewhere to stay . If not we will head south and kip in the car again.

We have heard from Michael and the bathroom is coming on really well. Remember how it was?

It now looks like this
