The roof is coming along nicely although we wouldn't want to be up there in the wind
The knotweed is still going strong so tried a new method of cutting off the top and putting a syringe full or killer into its hollow tube. Hopefully that will work!
Lots of migrants coming in so Jill popped down to the Loch plantation but even the usual Blackbird wasn't there. The wind was pretty strong so we just popped out for a bit with a stroll to the Dale of Walls plantation. Beautiful, but not a peep from anything. Jill did find a sweet new flower though. It's tiny. Spring squill.
The garden is now also starting to show a few bits if colour. The heads on the dandelions are huge! It's quite interesting to see what's there. The bluebells must be a throw back to when the Island was forested.
We shall leave the dandelions for the bees.
