Shetland happens

 

We have had our first two weeks here doing as much as we can to make the house liveable. Tomorrow we will sort of move in so the above picture is true.

There are now  2 rooms set up, running water and a few electric sockets that work for heaters. So we have done ok. The washing machine now sort of works as of today too.

Temporary curtains are up in the kitchen to stop everything getting dusty with no cupboard doors. It looks OK.

We did stop early today as it was Sunday. The weather is pretty rubbish but the views still stunning so we took a cheeky drive to the lovely Sandness. Lots of waders but visibility bad. Purple sandpipers heading for summer plummage
