First day we actually felt cold and the house was cold which kept us busy. We have decided to go and get a small gas heater to help for a bit.
We got on with scrubbing doors and frames - got round to the stairs. They were pretty bad as it happens.
Bird numbers near the house are increasing and there are now hundreds of oystercatcher surrounding the house and we now have a pair of visiting pheasants which for some reason we weren't expecting. They regularly visit our seed tray along with the twite in the garden.
The pheasant was through the window which shows how shot they are!
Also had a quick 5 minutes checking yesterday's walk pictures of risso's dolphin and fulmar
