Good few days

 The weather has been bright but windy so, difficult to find migrant passerines but we have been out and about.

We took one of our guests, Mark, over to Unst for the day. He hadn't been before, so we walked up to Hermaness. There were plenty of Bonxies, Gannets and a rough sea.

We also refound the Barred warbler at Valyie.

Nice to see some fresh plumaged Wheatears around.

We also found a few bits locally. A nice pair of stonechat s.

Lots of wagtails around.

And plenty of gannets at Melby and the first purple sandpipers are back.

Plenty of winter plumage tysties in town.

Looking forward to the next week as Sam is up to stay and do a bit of wool week.

Finally got our fancy coffee machine installed. Yum.
