Jill got excited finding a new flower at Watsness. Field Gentian. Not quite in flower, so will need to go back and see it flowering.
There was lots of hawk it including the pale variety Jill found last year.
Plenty of eyebright too.
Jill sat watching the Terns for a while. Not sure how many pairs there are, but more than last year so around 15. Can't get close with Terns.
The kittiwakes come to the lock everyday to bathe. There are good numbers this year
And the whoopers are back.
The meadow pipit family below the house are doing well
And the bog asphodel is flowering.
Rock pipit family on the beach and fulmar chicks on the cliff
