Jill went to the cinema for a treat on Saturday. It was good to borrow Sarah's daughter, Kaitlyn, as an excuse to go and see a children's film. It was the Faraway Tree and it was fun. Lovely cameo parts with Michael Pailin and Lenny Henry.
The last few days have been very busy with guests so not much time for doing much but we have really had some amazing visitors. Jill did fit in a clear up and took some bits to the tip yesterday
As part of the tidy up Jill has made use of the chimney pot that didn't quite look right. It's now planted up with Nasturtiums.
A bit more ditch appeared too.
A quick trip to the village shop this afternoon gave an opportunity for a quick bird watch. Several chiff chaffs and a couple of swallows made it feel a bit spring like.
There was a curlew that actually didn't just run away.
The redshanks are now paired up and there seems a lot this year
