Outside in the sun

We have had fantastic weather the last few days so have enjoyed working outside.

Jim smashed up the old concrete path so we can have a lower path to make it easier for Rob. The concrete added to the hardcore where the parking area will be. There might be too much there!

bit of a story as to why Jill has her slippers on. Well- it goes like this. 2.30am wakes up in agony, keeps passing out and goes a very funny colour. Rob calls for an ambulance after some not so gentle persuasion, ambulance arrives and off she goes, but in the hurry could only grab her slippers. Turns out it wasn't the suspected heart attack but a massive and long lasting osophageal spasm which made the valve stick open. Ouchie. Apparently women have pain in exactly the same spot with a heart attack.
So after 12 hours of checks, lots of painkillers and a bundle of tablets, our friends Mark and Sarah very kindly picked Jill up and bought her home- still in the slippers!
All good today although still pretty sore.

By the way we also have a new doorstep that Jim very kindly wrestled in place. It is a lovely flagstone that Jill found and dug up, from the courtyard 2 years ago. It was being kept exactly for this purpose.

Bentley approves!.

Filling up

Nearly at the next stage. The heating bits arrived today. There is a lot of it! We noticed today that we weren't getting any phone call...
