Got it!

  We had a video meeting  to wait for today so we couldn't get much done. To cheer ourselves up we decided to go out about 4.30pm. Neither rarities from yesterday appeared to be about so we decided to just
pop over to Sandness  it was a good choice as there were quite a few mad March ( Although it April) Hares

There wasn't much at the beach today. Just around 10 pied wagtails and lots of gulls tractor chasing. 






We stopped to watch hares again on the way home when the WhatsApp  group pinged to say the Purple Heron was showing.  We just had enough good light to make it worth it.
It was worth it, evening though we had some grief  from a local who seems to think Shetland isn't part of Scotland and therefore there is  no right to roam!















Needless to say, the cats got their tea a bit late!
