Shopping and sanderlings

Weather is actually quite mild and prone to drizzle so Jill didn't get much done outdoors. She is still hunting  out all our rubble for the new car bays. We have a lot! Also , abit more concrete went down but not much due to the drizzle.

It would have been a good day to  ut out the new post drop box Jill is making. It's all marked out, but the jigsaw seems to be randomly missing it's fuse!

Some got cut with a rusty old handsaw but, golly, that's hard work!

This morning it was off to town for the usual Friday appointments. Lovely rainbow.

Appointments done we  went to talk to Ditt again about ridge tiles and took some bits back to Jewsons.  Then a bit of birding. There would be some awesome summer plummage, Shag photos, but the memory card is in the car '- they can wait til tomorrow!

Did get some awesome Sanderlings though. Sit down and they run right round you!.

This one isn't called the can- can but the can- can't!

We also had slightly better views of the long staying  Bufflehead.

To end the day we had a lovely birthday meal with our lovely friend Penny at the Great Wall ( now TJ's). Very nice meal and good company.

Kitties waiting for their tea.

Photography day

Jill did the charity shop run looking for some Victorian looking bits without any success. Nice to see a tall ship 'parking' though....
