Double anniversary

It's been a really busy weekend and we spoilt ourselves with plenty of breaks as today it was our 18th wedding anniversary and 3 years to the day we relocated to Shetland. Can't believe it's been 3 years!

A few bits did get done. Jill worked on the post box and moved some more rubble but that was it. Rob has been processing the Up Helly Aa photos- oops there are over 1000. They said they wanted them to tell the story!. Will show you some more in the week.

To start, Going through town, we stumbled on the RNLI challenge porsche. Smart!.

We had a quick run over to Bressay.

We found a random white Dove and a group of young Whoopers.

we dud a first run to Sandness which was very productive lots of busy hares and some Grouse- for once in sunshine!

Grutness, Sumburgh and Virkie gave us some waders and a nice group of teal.

Purple sandpipers at Lerwick and Sandness.

 Good sunset.

Today Jill had the dentist so we stopped for lunch in town and came home again via Sandness. There were around 6 great Northern divers in the bay.

Lot of interaction between them.
