Joy ride

 We got up really early for a trip to get the puffins before they left the cliffs at Sumburgh, but they didn't! They stayed around all morning in good numbers. There will be some more photos on the blog tomorrow as there are plenty.















We had some good Eider and shelduck action at Boddam too.




Along with Whooper and Wheatear at Scatness.




By the time we got home it had been a long day but it was good to see a number of Golden Plover right by the house.

Need to look up a new flower too.
Few other nice bits and bobs around too.






We got home at tea time so while it was cooking Jill put a shelf in the chook house.



Jill checked the chooks and finally persuaded Dippy to join the other two and they went to bed really well
