Birding day out

 We picked up our friend Penny from Scalloway and had a lovely day out birding around Lerwick and the South of the island. We had scope views of a bittern, thanks to Hugh, our first on the island and 54 other species. The weather was lovely.



























Maywick beach was particularly lovely.
