Starting to feel like a home

Roanna's first visit is already getting complicated as the weather means tomorrow's ferry will be leaving early. Poor soul is having to catch the 5.45am train from Hull. Looking forward to seeing her. Rooms ready.

Jamie hasn't been able to come back to finish the join in the carpet so we have a temporary bit Jill put in.

Jim fitted the skirting on and Jill filled the nail holes.

The remaining wall got a coat of paint.

Bruce started taping the insulation board but we didn't have enough. 22 more rolls on order!

Jim and Bruce moved the insulation board upstairs to create space for the stairs.

The coving also got a bit of filling before being painted.

We also had a person from the council come over to survey for grants. It's only taken 18 months! Hopefully we can get a bit of help.
