Poor Geri

 Busy busy day today.

It started with a gorgeous sunrise.

Poor Geri was at the vets today to be spayed. Always makes you feel a bit mean.

Then Jill went on to help our friend Penny who was moving today from Lerwick to Scalloway.  ( after a cheeky trip to the tip)We just about got loaded up before the rain came. It's a very lovely little house.

Mid afternoon, after dropping Penny and her precious cargo of computers and cameras, at the house, Jill went back to pick Geri up. Apparently she had given the vets a hard time.

Straight away she started ripping at the wound and wouldn't leave it alone, so with some quick thinking Jill cut some holes in a bit of stockinette.

Our thanks to the Cats Protection league with their help. Jill has now signed up as a cpl volunteer to help with other ferals.

Rob spent the day sorting some new binoculars. We were sponsored by vortex years ago and like them so we ordered another updated pair today. Unfortunately we had to order from America. They will be herecquicker than UK stockists!

It was dark when we Jill got back so no pictures of Bruce's handiwork today. Jim put coving up in the hall..

We had a request for a close up of the new tiles.
