Another stunning classic winters day. Simply beautiful. Interesting clouds too.
Jill popped over to the vets to pick up the cat trap we are borrowing from SSPCA. The staff and Jill couldn't get it to work, so it was over to Bruce. Who knew a cat trap needs an Allen key.
Bruce swapped out a floorboard upstairs, did another coat on the skirting and oiled the floor to protect it. Jill painted the wall at the top of the stairs.
Rob had a surgery appointment so we had a nice drive down to Walls. The house looked lovely as we came over the hill.
As it got dark, Jill got all the cats in and put the trap in the Nissan hut where she has been putting food out. Within seconds Nutmeg appeared, went in the trap. Leant over the trigger and picked up the pot of Tuna in her mouth. One toss and it was outside the trap. She had a nice free meal!. Jill put a 2nd batch in a heavy bowl and in less than 5 minutes...
She is currently in the room upstairs, warm and dry. We have left food water and a towel in the trap as we daren't let her out. Major hiss and spit if you move the trap but calm In-between. It's -6 outside tonight so we hope she is enjoying a bit of warmth.worried if the other youngster is still alive and outside.
There was a hint of aurora tonight and the stars were beautiful. Still as anything and stuffing cold!!!!
Geri is doing well and is much better. Rob has discovered she loves a tummy rub. Weird!!!
Just discovered the odd cloud was steam release from the gas plant as the heating system failed.
