Magic colour changing car

 It did, honest!

Only kidding. The red one didn't start this morning so they had to come and swap it.

So, leaving, later than planned to test it, Jill actually had time to sand a couple of stairs first. We ended up leaving at about 10am.

Lots of birds about hunkering down in the wind.

News broke just before lunch that the Olivacious Warbler in Whalsay is likely a Western Olivacious so a first for Britain. Well, it would be rude not too.....

We got to the ferry terminal hoping to get on the 2pm so had a wee wander. We met up with Penny so we wouldn't need two cars. Nice Merganser in the harbour and a couple of waxwing flew over.

It was a rough crossing.

Driving home was interesting. Car brochure full charge 271 miles - actual 130!. It meant we couldn't put the heater on or we wouldn't make it home, so the windows steamed up. Pissarro poor for such an expensive car. Real shame because apart from that it's a lovely drive. Hmmmm

So charging....  mighty hard connecting 3 cables in the dark in torrential rain. Hmmmmm. Will have to get up in the night so hoping the weather improves.

Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made...
