Reminder

Rob decided the bed was a bit damp last night. It turns out, it wasn't the cat, or a heavy tablet induced sweat, or even a spilt glass of water- it was infact a leak from upstairs.

So a bit of the ceiling had to come down to see which pipe was leaking. It was the sink. The original pipe was in the wrong place and wasn't quite connecting with the new sink upstairs. Minor issue, solved. Jill is just waiting for a wee mouse head to pop out if the hole to say hi.

Jill will pick up some different pipe bits tomorrow. Bruce in the meantime did the ogee round the two doors.

As the weather was pretty nice today, Jim was outside doing the ingos around the windows. Looking tidy.

Jill used the good weather to clear out some rubbish. There is still plenty to move and it's a right pain when grass has grown through it over many years.

Not sure what's wrapped in the tied up black plastic!

Before lunch, Jill wandered down to the cliffs. Bug reminder of why she fell in love with the place. This made her mind up 2 years ago and it's still very special to have happen right on the doorstep.

It will always be special.

We had a very noisy visitor this evening in the porch.

Morgan wasn't impressed with the noises it was making!

The almost bathroom

Bruce has been doing a grand job upstairs and the toilet and sink are now in and attached to water. The waste isn't connected yet though. Its hard to believe how far this room has come.

Jim was outside in the chilly wind working on the ingos.

Jill spent some time clearing up the barn and outside as actually it was very sunny today.

Some of the stock came down from the attic ready to start offering photography services soon.

Later on Jill popped down to get a small amount of sand. Lots of Golden Plover and thrushes around.

More sunshine

It was another sunny day and the weather forecast is changing this week so we made the most if it and popped out   to check out a few woodland bits locally. There are still some lovely migrants around. Chiff chaff, Waxwing, Bullfinch, Brambling so it was a good day. Back to work tomorrow so a weekend with no sanding was a treat!

This evening it is a short blog so Jill has some time to write some quiz questions for this months village quiz.

Soggy

The weather has been decidedly wet and windy so we stayed in over the weekend but did get to visit Penny to see her fab decorations.   Toda...
