Busy day today. As the new windows and door in the porch have to come out and be put back in properly we have had to make changes in the porch.
The windows were leaking and not sitting on the sills properly.
As one window used to be a door, we are clearing out the gash wall and dropping in a new full length window. This one can then go in the extension. Hence the rather large hole.
To put the door in correctly we either need to take some off the door or ..... take up the whole floor, or it will always leak. So, we made the decision to take up the floor so we can drop it low enough to stop the leak, put insulation down and put the underfloor heating in.
We moved a lot of rubble today!
There were lots if silver y moths in the garden this afternoon.
We has a quick visit to Sandness this evening. Jill got to watch a Great Northern Diver getting angstey with a Red throated Diver.
