Day of two halves

 Woke up this morning to  a still day but by the time see walked to the Wick it was thick fog. Luckily it wasn't the kind we get here with 50mph winds!. It made photography a bit hard but gave interesting effects.





Luckily Jill has already got to know the area as you couldn't see the house. It's there, honest. 

As it was calm we had another bonfire which would have made up helly aa organisers proud and then the sun came out. It actually got to 18 so we took a drive to Huxter and found a new small loch packed full of photo opportunities.












And then it would have been churlish not to pop to melby for a quick otter check, and we got lucky. Super afternoon. Also had 4 great Northern divers one if which was calling. Now that is cool!
