Sneaky bit of birding

Bit windy today. Jill put her new strawberry home out. It was heavy so hopefully it will stay put.

The garden is looking green.
Rob spent the morning processing wedding images. They are looking good. He was feeling a bit ropey se we popped out for some quick birding at Melby. News came out of a black throated diver and we hadn't seen one on Shetland before.
It was a bit distant but good to see.

There was a pair if Red Throated Divers and a sleepy Great Northern Diver.

The Arctic Terns were being harassed by several Arctic Skuas.

There were plenty of gulls and waders, including our first Ruff on our patch.
