Driveway birding

Busy few days as we are at a wedding the next few days. We are taking the photos at our friends wedding. Lots of organising as we haven't done one for a bit. Jill will lead and Rob will take the group shots propped up on his tripod. Looking forward to it.

As we have been birding it's been quiet on the house front, but Jill did some painting today. Glossing an internal door and glueing the front door and window. Undercoat on!

We collected a table and chairs from our friend Penny as our old table is too big and doesn't fold down.

Jill popped a tripod over to the bride and groom. They were practising their Scottish dancing. No camera in the car as it was being cleaned and there was another new burd on the driveway. 13 to be precise. A small flock of Barnacle Geese were the American Golden Plover likes to be. Quick trip home to pick up the camera even though it was getting late. Lots of curlew, whimbrel, lapwings, oystercatchers, mallards, greylags and one golden plover.

Alan, the crofter, has started bringing the lambs back. We missed the sheep!.
