Well that is the grant stuff done. The extractors are in and they couldn't fit the trickle vents on our windows. ( there were only 4 that didn't have them anyway?)
The heating and hot water tells us how much it uses and so far it's £17 for 10 days. Obviously that's mainly for water at the moment. Seems not too bad- we will see!
Jill has moved some flagstones closer to the front path ready to put in place tomorrow, all being well.
The tractor from the croft was out today. Young man did a grand job with some lovely lines. It was a shame it was a bit murky for photos.
It did get better and Geri couldn't decide what to do, watch the tractor or demand attention.
Bentley just stayed in and enjoyed his new bed.
Alan , the crofter, popped in to say hi but Rob was on the phone to the VAT! Showed him the progress, think it looks better than the blog but too many flies!
Jim, who now lives next door, popped over to let us know how amazing Foula looked tonight. He wasn't wrong! Difficult to show in a photo but only the top was showing out of the fog.
Jill's been working on her entries for the photography competition at the agricultural show. It's hard. Enlisted the help of Sam and Roanna now. Entered 10 categories!
