Another lifer

Well, we hadn't planned to go out today as we have plenty to do but, when news broke of a new life bird for Jill we just had to drop everything.

A Pechora pipit was showing well at Quendale Mill . Bit of a panic as we hadn't charged enough batteries- very silly.

We got there just as it was showing well. Rob got good views too.

It did get quite chilly but the pipit didn't mind. It does come from Siberia!
Nice Red breadted flycatcher and chiff chaff there too.

Finally made it

Jill has been wanting to visit Fethaland, at the very far North of mainland, for ages. Today was the day. Lovely sunny weather for a change...
